This inviting cabin is located on a hilltop property overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of rural Northern California. The challenges were providing a combined pool house and guest quarters, while designing a structure that would both complement the existing main house, and feel nestled within the site’s mature landscape. The rustic quality of the building’s materials is contrasted by crisp detailing and by modernist design elements.
