Spanish Revival: Tradition reinterpreted for contemporary living
San Francisco, CA

A home shaped by natural light
With three school-aged children and extended family nearby, our clients envisioned a home that would be a social hub for friends and relatives.
Set within a neighborhood dominated by traditional Spanish Revival homes from the 1920s, this home offers a contemporary interpretation of that style, built for how people live today.

To counter the foggy climate on the western side of San Francisco, we took great care to illuminate interior spaces with as much natural light inside as possible, with rooms centered around a sky-lit stair hall.
