Built in 1912, this classic Edwardian home was due for a re‐envisioning to unify disparate elements and rectify previous remodels. The design team reconfigured the second floor, creating a luxurious master suite; updated the first floor interiors and details; and overhauled the basement level to integrate into the home’s overall flow and character. New architectural elements balanced the home’s original classic details while introducing a modern insertions and details. Attention was paid to the illumination of interior spaces, especially focused on creating glow and light in the new family room.
